10 Motivational Thoughts to Ponder

Do you jump out of bed every day pumped to workout and eat healthy? If not, you may not be alone. Following and sticking to a fitness and nutrition plan can be tough. There will be days when we won't be able to find any sense of fitness motivation and just want to throw in the sweaty towel and give up. But that’s the perfect time to reflect back and remember why you started in the first place and what your short and long-term goals are. And sometimes, we just need a few motivational quotes to kickstart us again...

1. Believe in yourself.

“Just believe in yourself. Even if you don’t, pretend that you do and, at some point, you will.”

- Venus Williams (American professional tennis player)

2. Know who you're doing it for.

"Every day is another chance to get stronger, to eat better, to live healthier, and to be the best version of you.” - Unknown

3. Make fitness a habit.

"Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going."

- Jim Ryin (former American politician and track and field athlete)

4. Keep going.

"Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway."

- Earl Nightingale (American radio speaker and author)

5. Every workout counts.

"The only bad workout is the one that didn't happen."

- Unknown

6. Push yourself.

“If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done.”

- Thomas Jefferson (American Founding Father)

7. Give it your best.

“To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.”

- Steve Prefontaine (American Olympic runner)

8. Attitude is everything.

"Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right."

- Henry Ford (founder of the Ford Motor Company)

9. Remember your "why."

"When you feel like quitting, think about why you started."

- Unknown

10. Be proud.

"Don't wait until you've reached your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take toward reaching that goal."

- Unknown

And most importantly know that...

Romans 5:8 (NIV) -"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

You are loved! ❤️
