All of these people and more, because everyone who participated gets a ribbon 😊. But seriously, I think that each person in this picture would tell you about the way they "Won" during the challenge. This was a party at my house celebrating, and we all shared something we learned or accomplished. I also had those who couldn't attend share their wins. Here are a few of their takeaways:
1. I feel so much better when I don't eat sugar.
2. Eating healthy doesn't mean you have to sacrifice flavor.
3. Working out is easier when I weigh less.
4. I can fix healthy food that my kids will like and eat.
5. Practicing daily affirmations changed my thinking throughout the day.
6. Breakfast smoothies are amazing!
Like I mentioned, everyone did great, but two people rose to the top! Andrea Redman lost 10.6 lbs, 2.8% fat, and 6 1/4 inches in only 4 weeks! Those are amazing results! Andrea loved that she didn't have to count calories, that her picky eaters in the house liked the recipes, and that she was able to easily stay on track for the whole 4 weeks! She said she usually quits a plan after 2 weeks, but this time she is committed to continuing on until she reaches her goal and to then taper down to a realistic maintenance plan. Honestly, she is already on a great maintenance/lifelong plan. Congratulations Andrea - you did amazing! 🏆
Aften Serrano was our other winner. Aften lost 10.2lbs, 2.7% fat, and 7 1/2 inches overall! Aften and her husband both loved the recipes and the suggestions about taking care of your home, your body, and your soul.
Special shout-out to Leanne Beakley and Rachelle Wilkinson who tied for the next 2 spots, losing 1.5% and 1.4% body fat!
We called it the Total Transformation Project, because we knew this would be another step in our journey towards great health. So much mind and body transformation has taken place, but we always have room for more. This group is already sharing outside of themselves, and I have no doubt they will continue to grow in mind, body, and soul.
